Biography

Vithusayni Paramanathan (born on September 7, 1998) is a Canadian singer, digital creator, and artist of Sri Lankan Tamil descent. Born and raised in Canada, she currently resides in Toronto, Ontario. She holds Canadian nationality, speaks Tamil and English, and embraces her South Asian cultural identity. Vithusayni attended Richmond Green Secondary School and graduated with a Criminology degree from Western University. With a growing digital presence under the Instagram handle @vithusayni (50K+ followers), she showcases her creative world in music, makeup, and lifestyle content.

Professionally, Vithusayni gained prominence as the first Canadian Tamil singer featured on an A.R. Rahman soundtrack, performing “Maathare” in the 2019 film Bigil directed by Atlee. She’s trained in Carnatic, Hindustani, and Western music, with instrumental proficiencies in piano, violin, and guitar. An alumna of KM Music Conservatory, she co-founded Isai Empire Inc., a production house supporting Tamil-Canadian talent.
