Baminnahennadige Dinakshie Priyasad (born March 18, 1990) is a Sri Lankan actress, television presenter, and media personality from Colombo, Sri Lanka. She is of Sinhalese ethnicity and holds Sri Lankan nationality. Raised in a creative household, she is the eldest daughter of renowned filmmaker Dinesh Priyasad and Shirani Priyasad, with sisters Sheshadrie and Shanudrie also in the entertainment industry. Dinakshie studied at Holy Family Convent, Bambalapitiya and Royal Institute International School, later pursuing engineering at the Open University of Sri Lanka and a diploma in Media and Mass Communication at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. She is active on Instagram as @dinakshie, where she has 1.2M+ followers.
Dinakshie made her screen debut as a child in Apaye Thathpara 84,000 (1992), directed by her father. As an adult, she transitioned into lead roles in Sinhala films such as Double Trouble (2013), Me Wage Adarayak (2015), Zoom (2016), and Suparna (2020). She also earned praise for her performances in teledramas like Take Care, Sanda Giri Pawwa, Salsapuna, and Hithata Wahal Weemi, further expanding her reach through the web series Under One Roof (2023). Her diverse media presence continues to make her a beloved figure in Sri Lanka’s entertainment landscape.
Dinakshie is married to actor and presenter Saranga Disasekara since August 28, 2020. The couple welcomed their daughter Saranya in September 2021. Balancing family, media work, and social advocacy, she remains a positive influence and role model in Sri Lanka
